The investigation yield, yield components and agronomic traits of hybrid rice genotypes in Golestan province.

This experiment was carried out to investigate of yield and yield components and some agronomy traits of 4 hybrid rice and 2 pure line genotypes with 2 Check varieties (Shiroody and Fajr) in Golestan province. We have used a CRBD with 3 replications in 2011-2012. Genotypes were including: H-1(SA15 A / SA13 R), H-2 (SA15 A / SA14 R), H-3(IR79124 A / SA13 R), H-4 (IR79124 A / SA14 R), SA-13 and SA-14. Transplanting was done at 3-4 leaf stage with 20Χ20 cm between plants. One seedling was planted in each hill. Evaluation for 10 traits including grain yield, days to maturity, 1000-grain weight, panicle per m2, plant height, stem length, spike length, days to 50% flowering, grain height and grain diameter were measured on 10 random plants from each plot based on standard evaluation system for rice ( IRRI Method). Combined analysis of variance for two years showed significant differences among genotypes. The results showed that the yield, yield components and agronomy traits except diameter showed significant differences among the genotypes. Lines of SA-13 and SA-14 also H-1 have most 1000- grain weight. H-2(8328Kg/ha) were produced the highest grain yield. SA-13 that has released as a good quality variety named Gohar in Rice Research Institute of Iran (RRII ) which produced 7447 kg and SA-14 7143 Kg grain yield respectively .
