Determination of nutritive value and digestibility of 9 species of range plants in Kohgiluyeh and Boiahmad province.

This research for determining nine species of pasture plants in Kohgiluyeh va- Boyer-Ahmad Province were examined. These species included Medicago coronate, Vicia villosa , Hordeum bulbosum, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus tectorum, Poa bulbosa, Prangos ferulace, Dorema aucheri and Ferulago angolata. Ten types of each species in three phenologies (growing, flowering and seeding stages) were gathered from selected regions during three years. These samples were dried naturally and were ground afterwards. These the chemical compounds of organic materials, raw protein, raw fat, raw fiber, Cellulose-free cell wall, Calcium, manyaziom, brimstone, and copper were measured employing standard approaches and the digestibility was determined using the in-vitro approach.Then, findings obtained from the chemical analysis of each plant were analyzed using SAS softwore. The data was calculated and presented in specific tables for each plant. The tables of average results of mineral and organic chemical ingredients, the raw energy, digestibility and their changes in different phonological stages for each plant were presented and compared. The results of research showed that nutrient concentration of species are different. The highest amount of raw protein was found in Medicago coronate and Vicia villosa, averaging 24.42% and 21.8% respectively during these three phonological stages. The highest amount of digestibility of organic material was found in Dorema aucheri, Prangos ferulace and Medicago coronate averaging 78.8% , 75.6% and 75.4% respectively during these three phonological stages. The highest amount of raw fat was related to Prangos ferulace with an average of 3% and Ferulago angolatawith 2.8%. Ferulago angolataand and Hordeum bulbosum the highest amount of raw energy with 4192 and 4351 gram per calorie respectively.
