Soil microbes are important integal components of soil ecosystem which have significant and diverse role in organic metter decomposition, nitrogen cycling, and nitrogen fixtion. In this study an effective denaturing gradient gel eletrophororesis method was employed for paddy soil microbial activity survey. For optimum paddy soil microbial DNA exrtraction, different methods such as Lusis buffer, skin milk bead, sodium phosphate buffer , Epicentre Soil Master DNA extraction kit and Mo Bio Power Soil DNA kit methods were utilized.
