Seed viability and moisture content of pelleted sesame seeds were examined for four months at one month interval under different temperature and humidity to investigate safe storage conditions. The storage experiment was conducted at 4,15 and 25℃, and 40, 60 and 80% relative humidity conditions. The highest moisture content of seeds was revealed in control seeds. The seeds pelleted with clay alone or clay-containing material showed higher moisture content than those pelleted with talcum. The seeds stored at 4℃ showed higher moisture content than those stored at 15℃ or 25℃ under 80% RH. The highest moisture content of the seeds wsa revealed after 3 months storage.
