The research presents theoretical and methodological fundamentals of management in agricultural sector. Concept of transformation of agricultural management system in the conditions of market economy is substantiated; structure, principles and methods of crisis management in agricultural sector, the main conceptual approaches and strategic management decisions on the agrarian sector of the early 21 th century are developed. Economic education as an objective need for a new type of specialist training, especially in the conditions of economic development of the Republic of Belarus at the present stage is analyzed. Retaining qualified personnel in rural areas as the key to successful development of the agro-industrial complex of Belarus is researched; agricultural education in the situation of formation of new economic relations is analyzed. Analysis of the adaptation of agriculture of the Republic of Belarus to the market conditions is presented; the characteristics of the efficiency of the national education system are shown; intensification of education as a mean of improving of economic training is substantiated; main directions of improving the efficiency of the economic system of education in agriculture are outlined. Use of new educational technologies in the educational process and implementation of continuous and integrated multi-level system of economic education is researched. Professional development of teachers as a necessary condition for the growth of economic efficiency of education is proved.
