Resistance to bolting 42 collection samples red beet (Beta vulgaris) of a various ecological and geographical origin in the conditions of Republic of Belarus is studied. Sources for selection of red beet on resistance to bolting are established. Studied in the collection nursery beet samples differ significantly in their resistance to bolting. For red beet breeding for resistance to bolting there could be recommended the following samples: Podzimnyaya A 474, Leningradskaya okruglaya, Valenta, Gribovskaya ploskaya, Kamerun, Krosbi, Egipetskaya ploskaya, Severnyj shar, Globus, Odnorostkovaya, Astra, Mulatka, Xolodostojkaya 19, Rywal, Egipskipne, Opolski, Pronto, Gas pa dy nya, Larka, Rocket, Czerwona kula, Pablo F1, Red cloud F1, Libero, Tsilindra, Dvusemyannaya TSXA, Bordo odnosemyannaya, Czerwona kula 2, Regulski cylindr, Dij, Karmazyn, Burpee, Golden, Bikores, Ilgiai, Kamuoliai, Russkaya odnosemyannaya, Prygazhunya.
