According to the State Program of sustainable development of agro-industrial complex, animal husbandry enterprises require the development of the production, introduction of modern technologies, building of modern and reconstruction of old manufacturing objects and increase of effectiveness and profitability of animal husbandry branch based upon increment of animal productivity and decline of resource consumption. Swine husbandry appears one of the most important sectors of animal husbandry and requires the most intensive increase of productivity. Therefore, development of complex scientifically-based evaluation of pork production appears very valuable. The article presents resource-saving technology of pork producing, increasing productivity of animals and profitability of the branch on the enterprises of Minsk region. The most important results of the suggested resource-saving technology, applied on swine complexes of Minsk region are outlined; main characteristics of the efficiency and profitability of the modern technology application are analyzed.
