The artificial root substances with the various compositions of nutrients on the basis of local organic-mineral raw materials of peat and clay are created and presented in the article. Mineral salts, included in the composition of the substrate, are analyzed. The most important biometric indexes of the plants, grown on the artificial substrate, are evaluated. PH and electrical conductivity of water extract for radish growing is measured. The influence of substrate composition on root mass of radish is analyzed; the content of dry matter and water-soluble carbohydrates in the roots is studied. These developed substrates completely correspond to the requirements shown to greenhouse substrates. Compositions of artificial substrate for cultivation of sprouts of tomatoes and reception of economic valuable production of a garden radish are picked up.
