Economic analysis of any market allows determining of working efficiency of organization on micro- and macro-level and working out special measures directly influencing economic efficiency of the industry. Floriculture of the Republic of Belarus is analyzed insufficiently, that's why the following research is aimed at analyzing of a current state and future perspectives of the development of flower producing industry and evaluating of the preferences of Belarusian consumers. The article analyzes capacity and the structure of the national and foreign market of flower production. Dynamics of imported and domestic production of cut flowers and potted plants is analyzed; structure of imported production for the period of 2007-2011 is suggested. Defining characteristics and features of the development of Belarusian flower market are allocated; the future directions of the development are predicted.
