Some cases of infectious laryngotracheitis were detected and the virus agent was isolated and identified. After purification and propagation of the viruses, a strain with a high pathogenicity for birds and the ILT attenuated vaccine virus were candidated for vaccine production. Viruseswere tittered and inactivated with formalin, beta propiolactone and binary ethylene imine 0.5ml of each inactivated viruses was injected into ten SPF chicken via subcutaneous and intra muscular routs. After three weeks, evaluation of sera demonstrated that BEI was the best chemicals for ILT virus inactivation and rasing antibody against both vaccine and field viruses was not different. For vaccine formulation, incomplete ferund and montanid adjuvants were used in which of the homogenized vaccine was equal to one dose. Comparision of two vaccines with different adjuvants, revaled that both produced similar antibody titer in birds.
