اللغة الفارسية. Irrigation management includes cut off date, water volume and irrigation ferquency, affect on the yield, postharvest quality and storage life-time of garlic. The effect of cut off date and irrigation leveles on garlic were investigated during 3 years using a completely randomazed block split plot experiment design consisting of three leveles of irrigation ( 75%,100% ,125% water use) as main plot and three treatments of irrigation cutoff dates (current date, a week before and a week after current date of irrigation in the garlic farmes of Hamedan) as sub plot, at three replicationes. During growing season drying matter accumulation (DMA), CGR and RGR in bulb and leaves were determined. After harvesting yield, clove and skin numbers, bulb diameter and clove weight were measured. During 6 months storage pyruvate, color changes, moisture content, weight loss and spoilage were determined monthly. Results showed that effect of irrigation leves on yield was not significant and the highest water ues efficiency belonged to 75% treatment. Effect of the irrigation cutoff date on yield was not significant although at the later irrigation cut off date the less yield was seen. Baesd on the growth curve and RGR and CGR contents, at the secend date of irrigation dry matter accumulation was occurred. Effect of irrigation levels and cut off dates on garlic quality after storage showed that at the later date of irrigation cut off, pyruvate content, weight loss and spoilage increased and color changes decreased. The irrigation levels had no significant effect on pyruvate, color changes, moisture content, weight loss and spoilage.
