Sources and concentrations of nutrient substrates have been selected for the growth and effective beta-glucans biosynthesis by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 yeast strain. The main sources of carbon, nitrogen, and minerals used in the development of culture media include glucose, sucrose, zinc acetate, ammonium phosphate which provide high yeast productivity. The YPD medium with a glucose concentration of 3 - 4% is recommended for maximum beta-glucans biosynthesis by yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20. The Rieder medium supplemented with 3% sucrose and 10-20 mg / l of zinc acetate is proposed as another medium formula to stimulate the biosynthesis of glucans. Ammonium phosphate provides efficacy of the YPD medium in terms of cell biomass production increment.
