Carlig, V. | Carlig, T.
The studies on the population of the species complex Rana kl. esculentus (Amphibia, Ecaudata) have been performed in the Cricova-Goieni natural complex. It was established that the main species Rana ridibunda and Rana lessonae constitute 27,4 and 47,6 % respectively from the whole number of tested individuals, while Rana esculenta form constitute 25,0%. This complex is a habitat for five dorsal morphs only in comparison with ten ones in the Codri scientific reserve. The MS and M morphs are most numerous, the other three ones - Mhs, hm and hmS are observed in an insignificant number of individuals and represent an adaptive reserve of the populations. Low polymorphism is characteristic of the populations subject to the impact of the anthropogenic factor indicating to their susceptibility and need for environment condition improvement in the areas studied.
