The methodical principles of planning of forest fire suppression resources depending on the number of forest fires on area protected unit, admissible time of fire spreading prior to start of its suppression, average speed of the vehicle on delivery a fire brigade to the seat of fire and its productivity are described. An expert opinion of technical aids of forest fire suppression in land conditions and from the air is given.
