Young honey bee colonies or nucleus colonies need a constant food intake for their development. Candies are commonly used for feeding bees by the beekeepers. In our experiment we compared the effect of feeding three different candies on development of nucleus colonies established at two locations: Jable (Central Slovenia region) and Brdo (Gorenjska region).
