Berry responses of marroo seedless grape to GA3 and thinning

Effects of GA3 at concentration of 25 and 50 ppm at 14 and 21 days after full-bloom together with berry thinning before or after GA3 application to quantity and quality of 'Marroo Seedless'grapes were conducted at Kanchanaburi Research Station Kanchanaburi province during November, 2008 to February, 2007. The result showed that GA3 application at a concentration of 50 ppm at 21 days after full-bloom with berry thinning before GA3 application was significantly increasing the size of cluster, size and weight of berries. The application of GA3 at concentration of 25 and 50 ppm at 14 days after full-bloom with berry thinning before or after GA3 application gave less percentage of seeds development than the untreated and GA3 application at 21 days after full-bloom. The application of GA3 with berry thinning before or after GA3 application did not affect to berries drop. GA3 application at concentration 25 and 50 ppm at 14 and 21 days after full-bloom with berry thinning before or after GA3 application increased size of pedicel and stem weight and total soluble solids and decreased acidity.
