Lifespan, growth and fecundity of narrow-clawed crayfish Astacus leptodactylus in Sominskoe lake

إنجليزي. Narrow-clawed crayfish Astacus leptodactylus represents single commercial specie of crayfishes existing on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Organization of rational fishing of Astacus leptodactylus supposes evaluation of biological characteristics of population, including age structure, growth peculiarities and reproductive parameters of the specie. The article deals with determination of the most important characteristics of narrow-clawed crayfish population of Sominskoe lake (Brest region). Lifespan of narrow-clawed crayfish specie in Sominskoe Lake is 6 years. The species reach 13 cm length by the end of this period. Theoretical maximum lifespan of crayfish species is around 9 years. The difference between the theoretical maximum lifespan and the current lifespan of narrow-clawed crayfish in the lake is due to intense amateur fishing. Female fecundity varies from 100 to 260 eggs. the average diameter of recently laid eggs if 2.96+-0.16 mm, dry weight – 4.54+-0.62 mg. Dry egg weight is 29.7+-3.7 % of raw. There is no statistical dependency between the mass of a single egg and female specie’s mass. Fecundity at the end of the embryonic period is less than the number of eggs in their early laying by 7-10%. All females become mature at the age of 3 years Habitat of Sominskoe lake can be characterized as favorable for narrow-clawed crayfish populations.

الروسية. Проанализирована популяция длиннопалого рака Astacus leptodactylus оз. Соминское. Продолжительность жизни особей в оз. Соминское составляет 6 лет, к этому возрасту раки достигают в среднем длины 13 см. Теоретически максимальная продолжительность жизни раков близка к 9 годам. Различия между наблюдаемой и максимальной продолжительностью жизни объясняются интенсивным любительским промыслом. Плодовитость самок изменяется от 100 до 260 яиц. Средний диаметр свежеотложенного яйца равен 2,96 +/- 0,16 мм, сухая масса - 4,54+/- 0,62 мг. Сухая масса яиц составила 29,7 +/- 3,7 % сырой. Между массой одного яйца и массой самки нет статистически значимой зависимости. Плодовитость в конце эмбрионального периода меньше количества яиц в начале их откладки на 7-10 %. Все самки становятся половозрелыми в возрасте 3 года. Условия обитания популяции длиннопалого рака оз. Соминское можно характеризовать как благоприятные.
