Examination of different genotypes of plants of Tagetes L. genus as promising sources of carotenoids for bio-additives in poultry farming

إنجليزي. In a course of field research there were studied the main species of the genus Tagetes L. according to carotene content in the inflorescences. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2011–2013 on a trial field of Belarusian State Academy of Agriculture, Gorki (Belarus) on sod-podzolic medium loamy soil. As a result of realized research there was shown the basic directions of the study of different genotypes of plants of the genus Tagetes L. as a promising source of carotenoids for dietary supplements in poultry farming. Thus, it was shown the importance of studying the collections of economically valuable species of plants in order to isolate the most valuable genotypes for human. It was revealed the high efficiency of adding of crushed marigold of flower clusters in the main feed of laying hens to increase the content of carotenoids in the egg yolk and the intensity of its color. To use marigold inflorescences in poultry as feed additives was recommended to use a variety of marigold with an intense orange color.

Показаны основные направления изучения различных генотипов растений из рода Tagetes L. как перспективных источников каротиноидов для биодобавок в птицеводстве. Таким образом, проведенные исследования показали большое значение изучения коллекций хозяйственно-ценных видов растений с целью выделения наиболее ценных для человека генотипов. Установлена высокая эффективность добавления измельченных соцветий бархатцев в основной корм кур-несушек для повышения содержания каротиноидов в яичном желтке и интенсивности его окраски. Для использования соцветий бархатцев в птицеводстве в качестве кормовых добавок рекомендуется использовать сорта бархатцев с интенсивной оранжевой окраской.
