Peculiarities of the growth and development of Nigella damascena and Nigella sativa in the conditions of Belarus

In a course of the research there was studied the prospective samples of Nigella (Nigella sativa L.) and Damascus Nigella (Nigella damascene L.), with the individual characteristics of growth and development. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2013-2014 at the training and trial field of the academic department of fruit and vegetable growing of the Belarusian Academy of Agriculture. As a result of realized research there was revealed the length of the growing season, and the time required for the phenological phases in the conditions of the north-eastern zone of the Republic of Belarus. Thus, in the Republic of Belarus varieties of Damascus Nigella (Nigella damascena L.) and Nigella (Nigella sativa L.) had the complete development cycle from the formation of the zygote before the formation of seeds. The vegetation period during 2013-2014 years of the sample N1 lasted 110 days, the sample N2 - 122, the sample N3 - 108 days and sample N4 - 135 days. The longest period - fruiting, which lasted in the sample N1 - 37 days, the sample N2 - 52 days, the sample N3 - 40 and the sample N4 - 50 days. One plant was formed in the middle 15-20 flowers, flowering duration of a single flower - 5-6 days, one plant - 10 days. Most flowers formed the ovary and fruits.

الروسية. Приведены данные о перспективных образцах нигеллы посевной (Nigella sativa L.) и нигеллы дамасской (Nigella damascenа L.), имеющие индивидуальные особенности роста и развития. Установлены продолжительность вегетационного периода и сроки прохождения фенологических фаз в условиях северо-восточной зоны Республики Беларусь. Исследования проводились на учебно-опытном поле кафедры плодоовощеводства УО БГСХА в 2013–2014 гг. Таким образом, в условиях Республики Беларусь виды нигелла дамасская (Nigella damascenа L.) и нигелла посевная (Nigella sativa L.) проходят полный цикл развития от образования зиготы до формирования семян. Вегетационный период за 2013-2014 гг. у образца №1 длился 110 дней, у образца №2 - 122, у образца №3 - 108 дней и у образца №4 - 135 дней. Наиболее длительный период - плодоношение, который продолжался у образца №1 - 37 дней, у образца №2 - 52 дня, у образца №3 - 40 и у образца №4 - 50 дней. На одном растении формируется в среднем - 15-20 цветков, длительность цветения одного цветка - 5-6 дней, одного растения - 10 дней. У большинства цветков образуется завязь и формируются плоды.
