Latvijā atklāta un tiek ieviesta efektīva integrēta latvāņu apkarošanas metode! EMPHASIS projekts

According to the State Plant Protection Service data, in Latvia 10,801 ha infested with Giant Hogweed (on 21.03.2016). In hogweed fighting Integrated Cultivation School recommends to use the integrated method: 1. Mechanical methods: rosette punching in spring, inflorescence removal, collection of the green seed, etc. It is important to take each method appropriate in optimum stage of hogweed development that for each of the methods listed differ materially. 2. The plant protection products: control is used in a selective herbicide mixture Accurate and Nuance 200 WG 75 WG + surfactant contact 100ml / ha. 3. Combining those mechanical methods and the use of plant protection products, perhaps a couple of years to cope with the hogweed. It is important not to carry out mowing in the hogweed areas. Site-specific biodiversity regeneration as a biological method is a key tool in combating hogweed effective in 2015 and 2016 demonstrated in Sigulda (Allaži), Priekuļi, Viļāni (Deksāre), Durbe, Lestene and Zilupe. In Riga, on November 29, 2016 held the first, organized by Integrated Cultivation School in collaboration with partners EMPHASIS, LVM, VAAD, etc., Scientific Conference on Hogweed / Heracleum spp. Containment with Integrated Pest Management Methods for hogweed control with the integrated plant protection methods for the Baltic countries, Scandinavia and other EU countries. 76 participants from 9 countries took note of the reports on the application of new methods and practices, as well as participated in active discussions.

لاتفيا. Eiropā visizplatītākā latvāņu suga ir Heracleum mantegazzianum. Latvijā sastopams Heracleum sosnowskyi. Pēc Valsts augu aizsardzības dienesta datiem, Latvijā 10801 ha ir invadēti ar latvāņiem (uz 21.03.2016). Latvāņu apkarošanā Integrētā Audzēšanas Skola iesaka izmantot integrēto metodi: 1. Mehāniskās metodes: rozešu izduršana pavasarī, ziedkopu nogriešana, zaļo sēklu savākšana u.c. Svarīgi to veikt katrai metodei atbilstošā optimālā latvāņa attīstības fāzē, kas katrai uzskaitītajai metodei būtiski atšķiras. 2. Ar augu aizsardzības līdzekļiem: latvāņu apkarošanā izmanto selektīvu herbicīdu maisījumu Accurate 200 WG un Nuance 75 WG + virsmas aktīvā viela Kontakts 100ml/ha . 3. Kombinējot minētās mehāniskās metodes un lietojot augu aizsardzības līdzekļus, iespējams pāris gados tikt galā ar latvāņiem. Svarīgi ir latvāņu teritorijās neveikt pļaušanu. Konkrētās vietas bioloģiskās daudzveidības atjaunošanās kā bioloģiska metode ir galvenais instruments latvāņu efektīvā apkarošanā, kas 2015. un 2016. gadā demonstrēts Siguldas (Allažos), Priekuļu, Viļānu (Dekšāres), Durbes, Lestenes un Zilupes novados. 29.11.2016. Rīgā, sadarbībā ar EMPHASIS partneriem, LVM, VAAD u.c. notika pirmā Integrētās Audzēšanas Skolas organizētā zinātniskā konference Baltijas valstīm, Skandināvijai un citām ES valstīm ''Hogweed/Heracleum spp. containment with integrated pest management methods'' par latvāņu apkarošanu ar integrētajām augu aizsardzības metodēm. 76 dalībnieki no 9 valstīm iepazinās ar ziņojumiem par jaunās metodes pielietošanu un praksi, kā arī piedalījās aktīvās diskusijās.
