Forming an environmentally sustainable agrophytocenosis on the example of mixed crops of grass pea and Sudan grass in the north-west of the Russian Federation | Создание экологически устойчивого агрофитоценоза на примере смешанного посева чины посевной и суданской травы в условиях северо-запада РФ

The aims of this work were to study grass pea and Sudan grass in one-species and binary mixed crops, determination of their cenotic compatibility, and selection of the starting material for the formation of an environmentally sustainable agrophytocenoses in the North-West of Russia. Accessions of grass pea from different eco-geographical groups (central Asia, the Mediterranean, the Transcaucasus, and Central Europe), and a Sudan grass accession from Belgium from the VIR collection were analyzed in Leningrad Province in 2008 and 2012. Plants in monospecies seeding and in 2 types of mixed ones – when grass pea and Sudan grass were sown in alternate rows and in one – were studied. Eighteen morphological, biochemical, and agronomic characteristics of plants were investigated. Studying variability of the structure of the relationships among the characters of Sudan grass revealed high correlation between the productivity of green mass, the number of nodes on the stem, and leaf size. In grass pea, productivity of green mass was correlated with the number of branches of the second order and the width of the leaf. The protein content in the green mass of Sudan grass was in antagonism to the length and diameter of the middle internode, while in grass pea it correlated with the productivity of green mass. Protein content increased in green mass when the technology of mixed planting of grass pea and Sudan grass was applied. The highest protein content in green mass was observed in mixed crops of Sudan grass and grass pea from the Transcaucasian eco-geographical group (24.5% in grass pea, and 16.8% in Sudan grass. The best cenotic compatibility was demonstrated in the experiment with mixed planting of Sudan grass (k-9916) and the grass pea of the Central European group (k-287). These accessions were recommended for formation of environmentally sustainable agrophytocenoses.

الروسية. Целью настоящей работы было изучение чины посевной (ЧП) и суданской травы (СТ) в одновидовых и бинарных смешанных посевах, определение их ценотической совместимости и выделение исходного материала для формирования экологически устойчивого агрофитоценоза в условиях Северо-Западного региона. Полевые эксперименты проводили в 2008 и 2012 гг. в Ленинградской области в условиях научно-производственной базы. Изучали 4 образца ЧП коллекции ВИР из разных эколого-географических групп (среднеазиатской, средиземноморской, закавказской, среднеевропейской) и образец суданской травы (из Бельгии). Исследовали растения в одновидовом посеве и в двух типах смешанного – при посеве ЧП и СТ через ряд и в одном ряду. Растения анализировали по 18 морфологическим, биохимическим хозяйственно-ценным признакам. Изучение изменчивости структуры взаимосвязей признаков у СТ выявило сильную связь между продуктивностью ЗМ, числом узлов на стебле и размерами листа. У ЧП продуктивность ЗМ была взаимосвязана с числом ветвей второго порядка и шириной листа. Содержание белка в зеленой массе у СТ находилось в антагонизме с длиной и диаметром среднего междоузлия, у ЧП – положительно коррелировало с продуктивностью ЗМ. Для большинства изученных образцов было установлено повышение содержания белка в ЗМ при применении технологии совместного посева семян ЧП и СТ. Наибольшее содержание белка в ЗМ наблюдалось в смешанном посеве СТ с ЧП из закавказской эколого-географической группы. У ЧП этот показатель достигал 24,5%, у СТ – 16,8%. По комплексу признаков лучшей ценотической совместимостью отличался опыт смешанного посева СТ (к-9916) с ЧП среднеевропейской группы (к-287). Эти образцы рекомендовано использовать для формирования экологически устойчивого агрофитоценоза.
