The achievements of agroforest amelioration of steppe soils and problems of agroforestry on forest soils of Russia | Успехи агролесомелиорации на степных и проблемы агролесоводства на лесных почвах России

The paper presents the achievements of agroforest amelioration in improvement of hydrology of agrolandscape, accumulation of humus, CO2 sequestration in steppe soils and problems of agroforestry on forest soils of Russia. Agroforest amelioration and agroforestry are two related scientific and production systems actual for the development and increase in the productivity of agriculture and forestry. The anthropogenic groundwater has been being formed and groundwater level has increased by 2.1 meters in the agroforest landscape of the Middle Volga region in Samara region for the period of 60 years. Available ground water for agricultural crops (depth less than 3 m) was formed on the area of 7.7% and that for woody plants (depth less than 5 m) - 56.2% of the total area of the said landscape. At the end of 20-th century the average volumes of accumulation of substances in the soil of agroforest landscapes of Russia was rather significant. The reserves of humus in the soil layer between 0 and 100 cm increased by 200.65 million tons, total nitrogen by 10.1, total phosphorus by 4.63, and total potassium by 32.08 million tons. During the 20-th century there were 12428,810 million tons of CO2 sequestered in the soil and phytomass of agroforest landscapes in natural zones of Russia that resulted in accumulation of 608.96 GJ of energy and allowed to obtain economic effect of 256.027 trillion rubles. Agroforestry in Russia disposes of a great potential. The area of the State Forest Fund of the Russian Federation is 1322.326 million hectares, the area of rural forests - 45 million hectares that makes total 1367.326 million hectares; the area covered by forest is 829.255 million hectares, uncovered by forest – 538.071 million hectares.

الروسية. Изложены достижения агролесомелиорации в улучшении гидрологии агроландшафта, аккумуляции гумуса, секвестрации углекислого газа на степных и проблемы агролесоводства на лесных почвах России. Агролесомелиорация и агролесоводство – две родственные научные и производственные системы, очень актуальные для развития, повышения продуктивности сельского и лесного хозяйства. В агролесоландшафте Среднего Поволжья в Самарской области за 60 лет сформировались антропогенные грунтовые воды, уровень грунтовых вод (УГВ) повысился на 2,1 м. Корнедоступные грунтовые воды для сельскохозяйственных растений (УГВ менее 3 м) образовались на площади 7,7%, а для древесных (УГВ менее 5 м) на площади 56,2%. Средние объемы аккумуляции веществ в почве агролесоландшафтов России в конце ХХ в. весьма значительны. Запасы гумуса в слое 0-100 см увеличились на 200,65 млн. т, валового азота на 10,1, Р2О5 - на 4,63, К2О - на 32,08 млн. т. В почве и фитомассе агролесоландшафтов по природным зонам РФ в ХХ в. секвестрировано 12428,81 млн. т СО2, что обеспечило накопление 608,96 ГДж энергии и позволило получить экономический эффект 256,027 трлн. руб. Агролесоводство в России имеет большие возможности. Общая площадь Государственного лесного фонда РФ равна 1322,326 млн. га и площади сельских лесов составляют 45 млн. га, а всего 1367,326 млн. га, покрытая лесом площадь 829,255 млн. га, непокрытая лесом 538,071 млн. га.
