Assessment of quality indices of grain windrows formation, their picking and threshing by the corn reaper in the process of swath harvesting | Оценка качественных показателей формирования хлебных валков, их подбора и обмолота при использовании порционной жатки на раздельной уборке зерновых культур

The portion reaping machine and a number of its modifications intended for special conditions of its operation: the portion reaper equipped with a device for stubble coulisses forming, the reaper with a device for free grain gathering and a windrow mulching grain swather, have been developed. The functional potentialities of the experimental and serial reapers have been analyzed from the comparative viewpoint. The studies were conducted in accordance with the State (All-Union) standards (GOST) 28301-2007 "Grain Harvesters, Methods of Testing" and GOST 20915-75 "Farm Machinery, Methods of Test Conditions Determination". The qualitative parameters at windrowing, picking up and combine thrashing have been studied on the basis of the authors' own methods and those developed by the scholars of the Siberian Institute of Mechanics and Electrification and in accordance with OST 70.8.1. – 81 methods. To determine the grain losses as result of the experimental portion reaper and the serial machine operation, there was used a frame made of 0.5 m2 wire, which was put in different places of the harvested field, diagonally, five times every 20 meters. All the lost grain was gathered within the limits of the frame. The grain from cut and non-cut spikes was threshed manually. The total amount of grains, having been lost within the bounds of the frame, was calculated and taken as the average value. it has been found that for the efficient work of picking-up windrows and preventing grain shattering it is necessary to use the drum rotation rate of 750 rpm and outlet clearance of up to 7 mm. The average grain losses in the process of windrow threshing by means of the experimental portion reaper, as compared with the serial one, were 16.5–18.0 kg/ha, or at 3.6 – 2.2 kg/ha less, the total grain losses decreased at 27.5 kg/ha. The expediency of applying the portion reaper and its varieties for swath harvesting of grain crops under the conditions of South Urals has been substantiated.

Разработана порционная жатка и несколько её модификаций для специальных условий работы: порционная жатка с устройством образования стерневых кулис, жатка, оснащённая устройством для сбора свободного зерна, валковая мульчирующая жатка. В сравнительном аспекте проанализирована работа экспериментальной и серийной жаток. Исследование проведено в соответствие с ГОСТом 28301-2007 "Комбайны зерновые, методы испытаний", ГОСТом 20915-75 "Сельскохозяйственная техника. Методы определения условий испытаний". Качественные показатели при скашивании в валки, подборе и обмолоте их комбайном были изучены по собственным методикам, методикам СибИМЭ и ОСТ 70.8.1. – 81. Для определения потерь зерна за экспериментальной порционной жаткой и серийным образцом была использована рамка из проволоки площадью 0,5 м2 , которую накладывали пять раз в различных местах убранного поля по диагонали через 20 м. В пределах рамки собирали все виды потерь. Зерно из срезанных и несрезанных колосьев обмолачивали вручную. Подсчитывали общее количество зёрен, утерянных в пределах рамки, как среднее из всех определений. Установлено, что для эффективной работы на подборе валков и предотвращения дробления зерна необходимо придерживаться частоты вращения барабана 750 об./мин и зазора на выходе до 7 мм. Средние потери на 1 га при обмолоте валков экспериментальной порционной жаткой по сравнению с серийной составили 16,5–18,0 кг/га, или на 3,6 – 2,2 кг/га меньше, общие потери зерна при раздельной уборке сократились на 27,5 36 кг/га. Доказана целесообразность применения порционной жатки и её разновидностей при раздельной уборке зерновых культур в условиях Южного Урала.
