إنجليزي. The research paper has been prepared in the period from 2008 to 2011 at the LLU Research and study farm Vecauce of LLU. Hypothesis statement: winter oilseed rape yield formation is affected by oilseed rape variety type as well as by different agrotechnological elements applied in sowing year. Objective of the paper: to investigate the impact of agrotechnical elements application on winter oilseed rape growth and development for two different winter oilseed rape varieties. Terms to reference: 1) To determine sowing date, sowing rate and plant growth regulator application effect on winter oilseed rape growth and development in autumn. 2) To evaluate the factors influencing wintering and it’s results with two methods. 3) To explain impact of research factors on further winter oilseed rape growth and development, yield and formation of its components. 4) To determine suitable sowing date and sowing rate based on researched factors and their influence on winter oilseed rape growth and development.

Darba hipotēze: ziemas rapša ražas veidošanos ietekmē kā šķirnes izvēle, tā arī vairāki sējas gada rudenī lietotie agrotehniskie elementi. Darba mērķis - izpētīt agrotehnisko elementu lietošanas ietekmi uz ziemas rapša augšanu un attīstību divām atšķirīgām ziemas rapša šķirnēm. Darba uzdevumi: 1) noskaidrot sējas termiņa, izsējas normas un augu augšanas regulatora lietošanas nozīmi uz ziemas rapša augšanu un attīstību sējas gada rudenī; 2) izvērtēt ziemošanas rezultātus pēc divām metodēm, kā arī to ietekmējošos faktorus; 3) skaidrot pētāmo faktoru ietekmi uz turpmāko ziemas rapša augšanu un attīstību, ražas un tās struktūrelementu veidošanos; 4) izvērtējot ziemas rapša augšanu un attīstību atkarībā no pētāmajiem faktoriem, noteikt piemērotāko sējas laiku un izsējas normu. Promocijas darba kopsavilkums sastāv no ievada, pētījuma apstākļu un metožu apraksta, rezultātiem, secinājumiem un izmantotās literatūras saraksta.
