Meža taksācija : mācību līdzeklis LLU Meža fakultātes studentiem, nozares speciālistiem un meža īpašniekiem

إنجليزي. Forest mensuration is the forest science branch for the valuation of forest wealth. The object of a forest mensuration statement is a separate tree and parts thereof, sets of trees, separate stands and parts thereof, sets of stands, masses of forest and forest materials. In Latvia, the beginnings of forest mensuration refer to the beginning of the 20th century. The only school book in the mensuration of forests in Latvian − P. Sarma ''Meža taksācija '' (Forest mensuration) − was issued in 1948. The book, issued in 2018, was written on the basis of developments in forest mensuration worldwide, taking into account the specific requirements arising from the content of the academic and professional bachelor, master and doctorate courses to be studied at the LLU Forest Faculty. The first section of the book deals with the mensuration of wood, i.e., the mensuration parts of the wood and the mensuration of the tree, the felled and growing mensuration of the tree. The second chapter deals with timber mensuration. In chapter three − forest stand mensuration. In the fourth chapter, increase mensuration. Chapter five sets out the growth rate of forest stands and sample trees. The reader will be informed by a list of Latvian-English-Russian terms, drawn up according to the meaning of the terms and the frequency of synonyms.

لاتفيا. Meža taksācija ir mežzinātnes nozare par meža bagātību vērtēšanu. Meža taksācijas izziņas objekts ir atsevišķs koks un tā daļas, koku kopas, atsevišķas audzes un to daļas, audžu kopas, meža masīvi un mežmateriāli. Latvijā meža taksācijas aizsākumi attiecas uz 20. gadsimta sākumu. Vienīgā mācību grāmata meža taksācijā latviešu valodā − P. Sarma ''Meža taksācija'' − izdota 1948. gadā. Grāmata, kura izdota 2018. gadā, tika sarakstīta, vadoties no meža taksācijas attīstības tendencēm pasaulē, ņemot vērā specifiskās prasības, kas izriet no LLU Meža fakultātē apgūstamo akadēmiskā un profesionālā bakalaura, maģistra un doktora studiju kursa satura. Mācību līdzekļa pirmajā nodaļā apskatīta koka taksācija, t.i., koka taksējamās daļas un koka taksācijas rādītāji, nocirsta un augoša koka taksācija. Otrajā nodaļā aplūkota kokmateriālu taksācija. Trešajā nodaļā − mežaudzes taksācija. Ceturtajā nodaļā − pieauguma taksācija. Piektajā nodaļā izklāstīta mežaudžu un paraugkoku augšanas gaita. Lasītājam informatīvs palīgs būs latviešu-angļu-krievu terminu saraksts, kas sastādīts, vadoties no terminu saturiskās jēgas un sinonīmu sastopamības biežuma.
