The author explores the competitive advantage of the wholesale market as a channel of distribution of agricultural products from the point of usefulness and positive development of this kind of trade. The aim of the research is to reveal the place, the role and the importance of the wholesale market in the light of its competitive advantage. The research is to determine which elements of competitive advantage can be positively reflected in the increase in profitability of wholesale distribution channels and to improve the market position of market sellers. The basic premise of the research is boiled down to meeting the needs of customers and consumers whose purchase of products in the wholesale market will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the wholesale market and confirm its superiority and competitive advantage over other distribution channels. This paper stresses the importance of the wholesale market as a distribution channel aiming to recommend the construction of these objects which can improve and increase trade in agri-industry.
