Determining the 'weed seed bank' in the soil is of great importance for the study of weed population dynamics, as well as for weed control planning. In agroecosystems, determination of weed seed bank in the soil allows a better choice of agro-technical measures, as well as the rational application of herbicides. Soil samples for determination of weed seed banks were taken after the grape harvest. From each plot was soil sampling was performed, in ten repetitions. Samples were taken from a depth of 0-10, 10-20 and 20-30 cm. The aim of this study was to determine the composition of soil seed bank in the orchards at sites Susek and Banoštor. In soil samples from the site Susak, 12 weed species were determinated: Ajuga chamaepitys, Amaranthus retroflexus, Bilderdykia convolvulus, Datura stramonim, Chenopodium hybridum, Cuscuta campestris, Echinochloa crus-galli, Oxalis corniculata, Lamium purpureum, Phacelia tanacetifolia, Solanum nigrum, Sorghum halepense, Stellaria media and Taraxacum officinale. The largest number of weed seeds (17841 per m2) was found in the vineyard raw, in soil layer of 0-10 cm. In soil samples from the site Banoštor 17 weed species were determined: A. chamaepitys, A. retroflexus, B. convolvulus, D. stramonim, C. hybridum, C. campestris, E. crus-galli, O. corniculata, L. purpureum, P. tanacetifolia, S. nigrum, S. halepense, S. media, T. officinale, Polygonum aviculare, Sinapis arvensis i Setaria viridis.
