First record of Ctenophryne geayi Mocquard, 1904 (Amphibia: Anura) for the state of Maranhão, Brazil

Herein, we report for the first time the occurrence of Ctenophryne geayi Mocquard, 1904 in the state of Maranhão and northeastern region of Brazil, extending its known geographical distribution by ca. 425 km northeast from the nearest locality with known record of the species.
