إنجليزي. The research was carried out from 2008 to 2013 in the Pūre Horticultural Research Centre. The aim: of the research is to clarify the influence of different plum rootstocks on biochemical content during plum wintering and to evaluate the influence of rootstocks on winter hardiness and yield indicative parameters. The tasks of the research: 1) to determine the dynamic of dry matter and reducing sugar content in plum annual shoots during wintering period depending on cultivar and rootstock; 2) to determine the dynamic of proline content during wintering period depending on cultivar and rootstock; 3) to evaluate the influence of rootstock on cultivar winter hardiness; 4) to evaluate the influence of rootstock on crop-forming generative parameters. Work novelty: For the first time in Latvia the complex investigations of dynamic of dry matter, reducing sugars and proline were performed for plums that was consolidate to previous research about the influence of rootstock and cultivar on plum wintering. The adaptability of less grown rootstocks that are known in Europe to Latvia agro-climatic conditions was clarified.

Darba mērķis: noskaidrot dažādu plūmju potcelmu ietekmi uz bioķīmiskā satura izmaiņām plūmju ziemošanas periodā un izvērtēt potcelmu ietekmi uz ziemcietību un ražu indicējošiem parametriem. Darba uzdevumi: 1) skaidrot sausnas un reducējošo cukuru satura dinamiku plūmju viengadīgajos dzinumos ziemošanas periodā atkarībā no šķirnes un potcelma; 2) skaidrot prolīna satura dinamiku ziemošanas periodā atkarībā no šķirnes un potcelma; 3) izvērtēt potcelmu ietekmi uz šķirņu ziemcietību; 4) izvērtēt potcelmu ietekmi uz ražu veidojošiem ģeneratīviem parametriem. Darba novitāte: pirmo reizi Latvijā kompleksi pētīta sausnas, reducējošo cukuru un prolīna dinamika plūmēm, kas sasaistīta ar iepriekšējiem pētījumiem par potcelmu un šķirnes ietekmi uz plūmju ziemošanu. Skaidrota mazizplatītu, Eiropā izmantotu potcelmu piemērotība Latvijas agroklimatiskajiem apstākļiem.
