Genetic history and value of the gene pool appearing Holmogosky breed | Генетическая история и ценность генофонда исчезающей холмогорской породы

إنجليزي. Historical, population-genetic and zootechnical aspects of the gene pool formation of the oldest domestic Kholmogory breed (KB) are discussed. The allelic structure and gene frequency analysis for the loci controlling the synthesis of milk proteins and antigens of the blood groups revealed the original structure of the allele fund and the interlocus combinations of genes. Judging by the haplotypes of the Y chromosome, the breed is related to the Western European dairy cattle of the black pied root. Maternally, it has common origin with the Finnish native hornless breeds and the Yaroslavl cattle. The results of the genome-wide Association studies conducted using 35874 polymorphic SNPs showed clear differentiation of the Kholmogory cattle (KC) from four other domestic breeds and from the Holstein breed. The revealed similarity of KC with the Yaroslavl breed (Q=6.4%) indicates their common historical origin from the Northern Great Russian cattle. The use of the Dutch cattle on different stages of the KB formation is reflected in the presence of the genetic component specific to the Holstein breed in the structure (Q=2.7%). Comparative evaluation of the Kholmogory, Holstein, Ayrshire, black pied and Yaroslavl breeds by the level of milk productivity for the last completed 305-day lactation and the total amount of completed lactations, as well as demographic indicators and indices of lifetime productivity showed that the KB is inferior to the Holstein, Ayrshire and black pied breeds in the yield of milk and production of milk fat for the last complete 305-day lactation. It is superior to all of the compared breeds in milk productivity for the total amount of completed lactations. KB is inferior only to the Ayrshire breed counting upon one month of life and a hundredweight of live weight. It is shown that the KB surpasses the Holstein breed in a number of dietary and technological qualities of milk. The measures on preservation of domestic breeds are offered.

الروسية. Обсуждаются исторические, популяционно-генетические и зоотехнические аспекты формирования генофонда старейшей из отечественных молочных пород крупного рогатого скота - холмогорской. Анализ аллельной структуры и частот генов по локусам, контролирующим синтез белков молока и антигенов групп крови, выявил оригинальную структуру аллелофонда и межлокусных комбинаций генов. Судя по гаплотипам Y-хромосомы, порода родственна западноевропейскому молочному скоту черно-пестрого корня. По материнской линии имеет общее происхождение с финскими аборигенными комолыми породами и ярославским скотом. Результаты полногеномных исследований, проведенных с использованием 35874 полиморфных SNP, показали четкую дифференциацию холмогорского скота от ярославской, бестужевской, красной горбатовской, костромской и голштинской пород. Выявленное сходство холмогорского скота с ярославской породой (Q=6,4%) указывает на общность исторического происхождения обеих пород от северного великорусского скота. Использование голландского скота на различных этапах формирования холмогорской породы нашло отражение в наличии в структуре породы специфического для голштинов генетического компонента (Q=2,7%). Сравнительная оценка животных холмогорской, голштинской, айрширской, черно-пестрой и ярославской пород по уровню молочной продуктивности за 305 дней последней законченной лактации и по сумме полных лактаций, а также демографическим показателям и индексам пожизненной продуктивности показала, что холмогорская порода уступает голштинской, айрширской и черно-пестрой породам по удою и продукции молочного жира за 305-суточную последнюю законченную лактацию, а по молочной продуктивности за сумму полных законченных лактаций превосходит все сравниваемые породы. В расчете на 1 мес жизни и 1 ц живой массы уступает только айрширской породе. Показано, что холмогорская порода по ряду диетических и технологических качеств молока превосходит голштинскую породу. Предложены меры по сохранению отечественных пород.
