Bayat, H.
In this research, Alyssum pinifolium (Nyar.) T.R. Dudley plant belonging to Brassicaceae family which is spreading in Canakkale region, has unknown production necessity and limited population number, and also endangered because of illegal tuber collectors and mining activities has been micropropagated by using in vitro plant tissue culture technics. Plant materials were used from in vitro plantlets which were grown in Department of Biology. Nodes, internodes and leaf explants were taken from in vitro growth plantlets as a initial material for plant tissue culture series. These explants were cultured on MS medium supplemented with BAP, IAA in orderto compare the callus induction capacity. Best callus induction medium were determined as MS medium supplemented with 2,0 mg/L BAP and 0,1 mg/L IAA. Healthy callus transferred to shoot regeneration medium which is supplemented with different combination and concentrations of BAP and IAA. 16 weeks after shoot proliferation of young plantlets which is belonging to A. pinifolium have been obtained. Best shoot induction medium were determined as MS medium supplemented with 2,0 mg/L BAP and 0,1 mg/L IAA. Shoot regeneration numbers for per explant were calculated as 7,56±0,01. As a result of our research, in vitro micropropagation of A. pinifolium were realized.
