Combination ability of parental forms of tomato on a set of traits in the creation of F1 heterotic hybrids for one-time harvesting

The total combination ability (TCA) of the initial forms was determined by the complex of characteristics (vegetation period, general baking, harvest, the mass, and the physical and mechanical properties of the fruit). Varieties and lines with high effects of TCA were singled out. Specific combination ability (SCA) was determined in 110 hybrid combinations obtained as a result of hybridization according to the scheme 11x11. A line of hybrid combinations with high SCA on a complex of features in dependence on the initial forms used in the hybridization were determined, and only in certain hybrid combinations they remain stable. It was established that direct and reverse crosses determine the effects of SCA. 9 references, 2 tables
