Economic policy recommendations stemming from agricultural greenhouse gas emissions in Bursa and Turkey

Global warming and climate change have become issues that are causing much concern in the world in recent years. The countries that perform their economic activities without thinking about the future generations have had to focus on "sustainability" issues since local and global environmental issues have been experienced. In this context, global warming problems have become one of the most important environmental topics occupying the world agenda. One of the causes of global warming is the increases on greenhouse gases such as CO2, CH4, N2O, CFC, etc. in the atmosphere. Especially in the developing countries, a growing population, industry development and the increasing demand for energy have triggered greenhouse gases emissions. In addition to, we cannot ignore the contributions of developed countries to greenhouse gas emissions. Until today, whic countries have got the global greenhouse gas emissions costs? In developing or developed countries which one are responsible at the climate change issue? Which sectors are the more polluter position? Like this questions haven't answered yet. At this point, we also confront agricultural sector that contributor of greenhouse gas emissions. Concordantly the purpose of this study is determine the position of Turkey in the World. These informations will contribute to knowledge of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions, shed light decision makers and public.
