Increasing operational efficiency of the seeder distribution system for cereal crops: doctoral thesis

Purpose of thesis: improving the technological indicators of cereal crops sowing quality by optimizing the constructive-functional parameters of the seed distribution system for cereal sowing machines. Scientific novelty and originality: the theory and design of pneumomechanical system for seed dosing and transportation were developed, the values of the optimal constructive and technological parameters of the system were established and the mathematical regression model was deduced for the variation coefficient of seed distribution along the row. Results: the use of experimental distribution system in the composition of cereal seed drills allowed to reduce the coefficient of variation of distance between seeds, when distributing along the row, down to 39.22% and to increase the working speed of the aggregate up to 12 km/h. The theoretical significance: consists in argumentation of the theoretical bases for determining the optimal parameters of the dosing and transportation devices from the distribution systems of the sowing machines.
