Lamb production dominates in organic sheep production, while milkproduction is much less present and very rare. There are usually two basic systemsof breeding in lamb production: fattening of lambs on pasture and combinedfattening of lambs. In organic goat breeding, the most common is the organicproduction of milk and dairy products, primarily quality goat cheeses. Thecultivation system is usually a combination of grazing (summer half of the year)and stable cultivation (winter half of the year). Such agriculture providesamortization of the negative effects of social development on the ecosphere andthe human population as a whole.
