Land exploitation directly affects the physico-chemical characteristics of thesoil. Agricultural land can often be seen near the landfills. The question is howmuch waste affects the production potential of land. The research in this paper isfocused on the influence of the municipal waste landfill on the physico-chemicalcharacteristics of the soil. In soil samples were analyzed: pH in KCl, pH in H2O,CaCO3, humus, total nitrogen, P2O5, K2O and organic carbon. The obtained resultsindicate a negative impact of waste on the content of OC and the content of easilyaccessible phosphorus and potassium.
