The effect of zinc and phosphorus applications on the yield and yield components in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
2013
Ipek, M.
The study was conducted to determine effects of different levels of zinc and phosphorus on the yield and some yield components in Wheat in during 2009-2010 growing season in Uzunkavak villages of Taskopru of Kastamonu . The experiment was laid out in a factorial randomised block design with three replications. The study was conducted to determine effects of different levels of phosphorus (0, 6 and 12 kg/da) and zinc (0, 200 and 400 ml/da) on the yield and some yield components in wheat . In the study were investigated the seed yield, biological yield, harvest index, protein ratio and phosphorus content and zinc content in seeds, plant height, spike height, spikelet number, seed number per spike, 1000-seed weight, number of spike per meter square. The results of the study indicated that zinc and phosphorus applications increased significantly the seed yield and yield components. The highest seed yield (465.6 kg/da) was obtained from 6 kg/da phosphorus + 400 ml/da zinc application.
