Effect to yield and quality of farm and green manure (buckwheat, vetch) treatments in bread wheat
2017
Akkaya, S.
This research was conducted with aim to investigate effects on grain yield, some yield characteristics and protein content of summer bread wheat of vetch and buckweath green manure with addition farm manure during 2017 year in the experimental area of the S?leyman Demirel University according to a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replicates using the Ko?-2015 summer bread wheat cultivar. In the research was experiment to conventional manure (control), alone farm manure, Vetch green manure, buckwheat green manure, vetch green manure+farm manure and buckwheat green manure + farm manure treatments. In the research, the longest plant height (80.7 cm), spike length (10.1 cm), the highest plant number per m2 (132.9 plant per m2), spike number per m2 (357.7 spike per m2), biological yield (1149.1 kg da-1), grain yield (348.3 kg da-1), harvest index (30.0%) and protein content (14.6%) of wheat were determined in conventional manure, and 1000 seed weight (47.3 g) from vetch green manure+farm manure treatment. Hectoliter weigh is not significant among treatments. In the comparison to green manure and farm manure treatment, the highest plant values were determined in vetch green manure+farm manure. Generally, the lowest values except 1000 seed weight were obtained from buckwheat green manure. It could recommend conventional manure treatment in Isparta's ecological conditions because of the higher grain yield and protein content. However, vetch green manure+farm manure treatment can be recommended sustainable agriculture conditions due to enough grain yield and protein content.
