Study of the probability of the formation of illegal landfills in the high mountainous rural territories of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.

In the current study, with the support of local municipalities, data were collected for the Mtskheta-Mtianeti highland region, which show: population, presence of major sources of waste, amount of waste collected, efficiency and frequency, availability/use of appropriate equipment, etc. Based on all these data, using the methodology developed by the authors, the probability of illegal landfills in the studied region is calculated.
