مجهول. Effect of powdery mildew fungus Sphaerotheca fuliginea and root knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita on the rhizosphere mycoflora of Cucumis sativus have been studied when grown in naturally infested soil and autoclaved soil. Infection of Cucumis sativus by Meloidogyne incognita and Sphaerotheca fuliginea harboured more rhizosphere fungi as compared to the fungus and nematode alone. The buildup of rhizosphere mycoflora was also high in naturally infested soil as compared to autoclaved soil. The growth of plants, intensity of powdery mildew, and population of nematode and measurement of female were high in autoclaved soil. Thus the rhizosphere fungi which were present in naturally infested soil, adversely affected the growth of plant, powdery mildew intensity and nematode development.
