This paper considered the business deployment of importer and seller in imported and domestic supply of layer parent stock. Since the 1990s, egg producers have become bigger and have integrated commercial hatchery. Furthermore, since the 2000s, branded eggs have been expanding and domestic animal infectious disease has broken out. Importer and seller of layer parent stock have endeavored to change business deployment that responds to the change of these situations. It focuses on import of GP (Grand Parent Stock) for the purpose of a sustainable supply of layer. Moreover, it started import of GGP (Great Grand Parent Stock) in 2007. In the context of expansion of brand eggs production, it has expanded sale of brown laying hens more than the usual white laying hens. Additionally, it compiled direct management farms and innovated a way of sanitary control on the basis of the HACCP system for the purpose of decrease of domestic animal infectious diseases risk.
