This article is devoted to the field of land relations, especially agricultural land relations, and the problems related to their efficient regulation in the current conditions of societal development. From the totality of unsolved problems in the agriculture of the Republic of Moldova at the present stage, the author underlines the objective necessity of developing the methodological bases of agrarian land relations, with the aim of sustainable administration of land resources by organizational-legal forms, based on different types of ownership. Land relations are a product of society. In the history of the statehood of the Republic of Moldova we find several stages of development of land relations. The period of the present study includes the last initial stage of the statehood of the Republic of Moldova, the period 1991-2018 - a period designed for the formation of pronounced land relations.
