اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]إنجليزي. As wild-capture fisheries exceed sustainable levels, aquaculture is expected to increase its importance as a source of fish products for a growing world population. Vaccination is a major prophylactic measure in modern aquaculture, but more efficient and more easily administered vaccines are needed. Mucosal delivery of vaccines could fulfil both these requirements, but a better understanding of the organization and function of mucosal lymphoid tissues including the gills, is needed.
