In this paper, we present the results of twenty years of monitoring of the Vodovod laboratory, organized for the purpose of self-control, water source Opačica in Kuti’s field, Zelenika, Herceg Novi in relation to the possible impact of parish cemeteries located in the basin. The values of physical and chemical parameters pH, electrical conductivity, calcium, magnesium, chloride, ammonia nitrogen and microbial population indicate that there is no influence of the cemetery on the water quality of the Opačica water source.
