The role of biotechnology in the innovative and economic development of agriculture | Роль биотехнологии в инновационно-экономическом развитии сельского хозяйства

الروسية. Инновации в настоящее время главный элемент эффективного развития экономики государства. В развитых зарубежных странах инновационной деятельности уделяется повышенное внимание в различных областях, включая сельское хозяйство. Одним из наиболее перспективных направлений инновационного развития является биотехнология, достижения которой находят свое применение в широком спектре жизнедеятельности человека. С.-х. биотехнология базируется на достижениях в области клеточной и молекулярной биологии, генной инженерии, суть которой можно определить как комплекс приемов и методов, обеспечивающих направленное изменение наследственных свойств организма путем прямого переноса генов или воздействуя на гены, определяющие тот или иной генетический признак. Важное направления развития биотехнологии – создание генетически модифицированных организмов (ГМО), в частности с.-х. культур с заданными свойствами. Наиболее распространенными привнесенными свойствами, необходимыми для повышения продуктивности сельского хозяйства, стали устойчивость растений к гербицидам и насекомым вредителям. Рассмотрено современное состояние мирового производства с.-х. генетически модифицированных культур, основными из которых на данный момент являются гербицидоустойчивые и насекомоустойчивые соевые бобы, кукуруза, хлопчатник и рапс. Приведены данные, касающиеся площади возделывания генетически модифицированных культур в различных регионах и странах, экономические затраты и выгоды фермеров, их выращивающих, объемы дополнительного роста производства за период с 1996 по 2019 гг. Уделяется внимание правовым вопросам оборота ГМО, проблеме оценки их безопасности для человека и животных в странах, представляющих 2 различающихся подхода в этой области: США и Европе, а также вопросам восприятия ГМО мировой общественностью в связи с озабоченностью в отношении их безопасности.

إنجليزي. Innovation is currently the main element of the effective development of the state economy. In the developed foreign countries, increased attention is paid to innovation in various fields, including agriculture. One of the most promising areas of innovative development is biotechnology, the achievements of which find their application in a wide range of human activities. Agricultural biotechnology is based on achievements in the field of cellular and molecular biology, genetic engineering, the essence of which can be defined as a set of techniques and methods that provide a directed change in the hereditary properties of an organism by direct gene transfer or by influencing the genes that determine a particular genetic trait. An important direction in the development of biotechnology is the creation of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), in particular agricultural crops with specified properties plant resistance to herbicides and insect pests have become the most common introduced properties necessary to increase agricultural productivity. There has been examined the current state of the world production of agricultural genetically modified crops, the main of which at the moment are herbicide-resistant and insect-resistant soybeans, corn, cotton and rapeseed. The data concerning the area of cultivation of genetically modified crops in various regions and countries, the economic costs and benefits of farmers growing them, the volume of additional production growth for the period from 1996 to 2019 are presented. Attention is paid to the legal issues of the turnover of GMOs, the problem of assessing their safety for humans and animals in countries representing 2 different approaches in this area: the USA and Europe, as well as the perception of GMOs by the world public in connection with concerns about their safety.
