Determination of yield and some quality components of false flax [Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz] genotypes sown on different dates in autumn

In Turkey, the underestimated and less studied Camelina [Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz] plant has been planted in the winter ecology of Konya on four different dates (September 20th, September 30th, October 10th, October 20th, 2015) with 2 different genotypes (population originated from Russia; the variant has been certified as Suneson which is obtained from USA) and we have aimed to determine some of its quality features. Field experiment has been conducted as 3 iterations and in the Divided Parcels in Chance Blocks Experiment Pattern. Some agricultural and quality features of planted camelina were determined such as delivery interval, delivery interval in winter, blooming period, vegetation period, height of the plant, height of first capsule, number of main branches, number of capsules, number seeds in the capsule, weight of thousand grains, efficiency of grain and fat ratio were in the scope of research.When research results were evaluated the data for maximum weight of thousand grains was 15.6 g. for Suneson genotype that was planted on October 10th and the minimum weight of thousand grains was 1.11 g. which obtained from Russian genotype that was planted on October 10th. Also, the most efficiency in terms of grains was obtained from Russian genotype with 5.45 g./plant that was planted on October 20th and the lowest efficiency was obtained again from Russian genotype which was planted on October 10th with 3.95 gr./plant. On the other hand, Russian genotype planted on September 30th had the highest fat ratio as 36.38% and lowest fat ratio was obtained from Suneson genotype that was planted on October 20th which was 32.19%.
