The experiment was conducted to find out the effect of Furadan 3G on mungbean seeds (CES ID-21). Seeds without Furadan 3G were found infested with bean weevil while those with Furadan 3G were not attacked by such storage pest, after three weeks of storage. Regarding seed emergence, the seeds with or without Furadan 3G setting aside period of storage, exhibited almost a similar trend in the number of seeds that emerged each day and the number of days it took the seeds to emerge from sowing. Moreover, no sign of phytotoxic effects were observed since there was no evident morphological change manifested from seed emergence to 5 DAE (days after emergence)
