Two plant-feeding mites found in the Azores [injurious mites, Portugal]

The author describes briefly two plant-feeding mites found for the first time in the Azores. They are Brevipalpus obovatus Donnadieu found on Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck at Angra do Heroismo (Terceira Island) and on Thea sinensis L. at Gorreana (S. Miguel Island), and Brevipalpus phoenicis (Geijskes) also found on Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck at S. Mateus (Terceira Island). Notes about the life history, host plants and symptomatology of both species are given
