The clarified waste waters resulted from the swine rearing complexes present an increased rate of suspensions and a high concentration of soluble salts which may lead to a dangerous high rate of salinization and a decreased soil alkalisation. A 7 year application of waste waters on an argillic soil increased its content in nutritive elements and soluble salts. Once applied, the soil gets rich also in enzymes and enterobacteria. The use of waste waters in irrigation increases grain maize yields. The achieved yields are of good quality.
