This research tried to investigate the changes of nodulation, dry matter production, nitrogen content in soybeans as affected by Molybdenum and nitrogen application. In this experiment, plant response to molybdenum and nitrogen rates was studied for 2 years (1985-1986) on soybean cultivar (Kwangkyo) grown on acid soil. Molybdenum was ineffective in increasing yield but nitrogen was effective in all treatment. However, nodulation of soybean was incr1316eased by molybdenum and the combined effect of molybdenum plus nitrogen was greater in all treatment than each element applied singly. Therefore, molybdenum was available from the soil for the nitrate reduction in plant but was not sufficient to fully support nitrogen fixa
